Joe Fatone Sr.

Acting Instructor

As a child, Joe studied acting and voice at The Little Theatre in Brooklyn, New York. This training landed him a recording contract at the tender age of 15. Later while in the U.S. Army, he organized and directed shows for the military in Germany. Upon returning to the United States, he performed at and managed the Pegasus Light Opera Company in New York City. He later formed C & C Theatre Company, which trained actors of all ages. He maintained this theatre company until relocating to Orlando. He is currently a member of “NSB” here in Orlando. The group has opened for Nsync on several occasions as well as performed locally. He has been teaching at ACT III for several years.

Jeff Perino

Acting Instructor

Jeff Perino, a Theatre Instructor at Dr. Phillips High School, earned his Degree in Speech and Theatre at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. While at Clarion he was the recipient of the Best New Talent Award and earned a position as one of the Top 100 Collegiate actors in the country. After college Mr. Perino went on to a career in radio that spanned over 15 years and earned #1 ratings in Pennsylvania, Texas and Florida.

Mr. Perino is in his 5th year of teaching at Dr. Phillips where he teaches Drama 1-2-3-4 and Theatrical Directing. He has co-directed numerous plays and musicals with Theatre Director Karen Rugerio with many of those productions recognized at the district and state level. His solo directing projects have received great reviews and have picked up awards at the district and state theatre festivals. You can also find Mr. Perino attending to the needs of the guests of Discovery Cove in Orlando where he is frequently called upon to be the personal guide to Royalty, TV stars, film stars and the many corporate celebrities that frequent the park. Mr. Perino is supported by his wife, of 22 years, Pam and his daughter Mallory.


Rebecca Tarner

Dance Instructor

Rebecca started dancing at the age of three. Her studies included ballet, point, tap, jazz and modern. In 1997 she became a member of the Marion Performing Ballet. She danced many roles in “The Nutcracker”, “La Bayadere”, “The Stone Flower”, “Peter and the Wolf” and “Le Corsaire”. Rebecca began teaching dance at the age of eleven. She started choreographing numbers for dance recitals in 2002 and by the following year was the choreographer for a school musical. Since graduation Rebecca has worked as a choreographer on many shows, including “:Cats”, “My Favorite Year”, “Godspell”, “High School Musical” and “Guys and Dolls”. In 2006 she was given the opportunity to choreograph a music video for the independent film “Swimming to the Moon”.


Lily Molina

Hip Hop Instructor

Lily began dancing as a member of "Under A Groove Dance Company" in 2004. During her time there she performed in the culture shock dance competition and won the East Coast Dance Competition. She has also performed in the "Deft Talent Jam", "Monster of Hip Hop", "ASA Show" as well as various culture shock dance shows. Throughout these shows she has gotten the opporturnity to travel to various states to perform. Lily was also part of the official Orlando Magic Hip Hop Dance Team.

After the "Company" departed Lily continued her dance career and pursued her true passion as a choreographer. She is now an active choreographer at ACT III and Dura Dance Ministry in the Fine Arts Dept. at Faith World among others. Lily has choreographed countless routines for unsigned artists and non-profit organization shows. Some of her recent work includes the Puma shows. As for her style of dance, Lily states her style tends to fall into urban old school dance, pop lock titting break-in (break dancing), house dancehall and urban contemporary. She is a choreographer that is passionate about hip hop and expresses her love of music through dance. Lily also teaches Lyrical Jazz. Currently she continues to inspire others through the artistry of dance.


David Worker

Voice Instructor

David is a vocal instructor with considerable formal training and an extensive professional music background. As one of Orlando’s premiere vocalists, he brings real world experience to the classroom, helping his students achieve their musical goals. He studied at the University of Texas El Paso under Dr. Hugh Cardon, and at the University of Central Florida with renowned tenor Louis Roney. His knowledge of “Bel Canto” singing qualifies David to instruct his students in Classical style, as well as Pop, Rock, Country and Broadway. David has also mastered other vocal techniques and methods, such as Vaccai, Cocone, Gantone, and Seth Riggs “Speech Level” singing. He performs regularly for corporate America, as the lead vocalist for several large bands and orchestras, providing entertainment for private events and conventions. These music groups include The Paul Vesco Orchestra, Karakter Show Band, Johnny Cool and the Mobster Swing band, and Soul Funktion. He also performs as one of the “Three Tenors of Orlando” and is the leader of a new sensational act called the “Calendar Girls”. As a recital and concert artist, David has received many accolades and has performed countless lead and supporting roles in operas and musicals. He is also a composer, lyricist and music director based in Central Florida.


Cindy Lowa

Voice Instructor

Cynthia Lowa has earned her Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Central Florida. She has been seen around Orlando in professional productions at the Orlando Broadway Dinner Theatre, the Children's Theatre of Florida, and the Florida Children's Repertory Theatre in productions such as Cinderella, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, My Fair Lady, and Camelot. Miss Lowa has previously taught acting and voice to both children and adults at the University of Central Florida, The Children's Theatre of Florida, and The Pop Shop. For five summers she has served as a camp counselor and an acting instructor for the New York Film Academy's summer intensive acting workshop at Disney/MGM in Orlando, Florida. Cynthia is also a free-lance voice-over artist. In addition to teaching, she has also enjoyed writing and directing dramas over the last 3 years in her position as drama director at Church in the Son.
